Hi,
I currently use Dropbox to share files with my coworkers, friends, and myself on my personal laptop. I'm using the free version which only affords you 2GB of space and was thinking of upgrading to a paid account. 2GB is a lot of storage when you're just trying to send a file somewhere, but since I mainly use my computer for storing work files, family pictures, home movies, and mp3s of my favorite bands as well as some demos I've made, I'm worried about how long it would take to reaggregate everything if I were to have a harddrive failure.
Is Dropbox a good service for backing up all of this information or should I look at some of their competitors? I've heard they're a bit different from those companies you hear about on the radio like Carbonite, but I don't really understand how.
Thanks
