Create Marketing Materials for Your Trailer

Just like any business, a food trailer is only successful if you get the word out and entice customers to visit. Marketing materials and giveaways are just as valid and useful for a trailer than they are for a regular restaurant.

Marketing Materials for Food Trailers

Some options for you to consider when marketing your food trailer:

  • Buyer-Appreciation Programs / Punch cards:  Punch cards offer an easy way for you to recognize your loyal customer base. We recommend printing a few hundred during promotions once or twice a year so that you don’t end up losing money. You may also wish to research online programs that offer bonuses for check-ins if you are trying to boost your social media presence.
  • Coupons:  Be careful about group buying and coupon options that promise to drive customers to you.  Do the math before signing any agreements.
  • Promotional Materials / Swag:  Get your brand out there.  Create a marketing budget to include swag: contour-cut stickers, flyers/posters, postcards, buttons, magnets, koozies – whatever would best work with your product.
